My Problems and Symptoms

What Celery Juice Actually Does


At first I was like ‘are you kidding me, celery juice doesn’t have nutrients…not to mention I didn’t really want to drink its 'juice''. Then I read more and learned that celery is an herb that the body needs in order to cure hundreds of chronic illnesses and diseases that lie within. There are salts in celery called iodized salts that literally starve and eliminate bad bacteria. Science has yet to find this out…classic. Iodized salts also chemically neutralize toxins, in other words, make toxins ineffective in the body. To add onto the benefits and the reason as to why I tried juicing in the first place, is that it restores hydrochloric acid and helps the liver produce bile, which are incredibly important for digesting food and killing pathogens. My Results


Energy: After having drank celery juice for a week and a half, I felt a boost in energy that carried me throughout my days. This wasn’t an immediate surge like drinking an expresso, but I felt more elevated. I am usually fatigued and tired even after getting a full nights’ rest, so feeling refreshed like this was pretty incredible...after 4 months of drinking it, I wake up almost every morning feeling energized.


Mood: I’m not quite sure how to equate celery juice to having an impact on my mood but throughout drinking it I’ve been feeling more at ease. It was like I inhaled a stress relief remedy. I simply wasn’t as affected by the little things it seemed like.


Detox/ Digestion: In terms of my digestion, during the first few days of juicing, I went to the bathroom a few times…ok a lot of times… because the sodium cluster salts from the celery were purging my body of any bacteria, toxins, and potential old viruses. And I’m not going to lie, it was like a marathon sprint to the bathroom. But this was great because it was a tell-tale sign that my body was detoxing. *I will also note that the medical medium recommends laying off sugar and dairy so I tried to keep this up as well as limiting my gluten intake. I substituted these with products that used rice flour, coconut cheese, and I upped my fresh fruits and vegetable intake.*


Taste: During the first few days, my body took a little time to adjust. I found my lips and tongue tingling a little bit after drinking the juice. At first I was slightly alarmed…could this be an allergic reaction? Was my miracle solution going to end up putting me in the hospital? Or were my taste buds simply refusing pure healthy nutrients? · Wash celery with soap and water, cut off and throw away the stock and put celery in the juicer to get 16 oz of juice (about two cups).
