Benefits of Beets
Boosts stamina: Boost stamina for every type of workout. Beet juice is a great pre-workout power-up.
Detoxify: Beets support the body’s detoxification process and help to cleanse the blood while nourishing the liver.
Why you should care?
Detoxing is how your body gets rid of waste. If waste builds up, we get sick (skin issues, digestive issues, weight issues, etc.). We are born with toxins and heavy metals and in addition, are exposed to more every day. If you don’t work to detox your body, these toxins build up over time and start to destroy our bodies and brain
How does it work? Or the science behind it
Beets contain glutathione S-transferases (GTSs). GTS find damaging toxins in the body and neutralize them before eliminating them.
They contain an essential dose of folate, fiber, iron, vitamin C, potassium, and manganese. They fight inflammation and strengthen bones.
Helps create new red blood cells that carry oxygen through the body. Without enough, we can develop anemia, fatigue, depression, and arthritis.
Vitamin c is an essential vitamin, meaning your body can’t produce it. It is an antioxidant that strengthens your bodies natural defense
Do you know what antioxidants are? Antioxidants are molecules that boost the immune system. They do this by protecting cells from harmful molecules called free radicals.
Free radicals are unstable molecules the body produces as a reaction to environmental and other pressures (toxic chemicals, smoking, alcohol, fried foods).
An accumulation of free radicals has been linked to many chronic diseases
